Ace Portable Buildings is a leading Canterbury Portable Home Building Company offering the full package – style, a range of sizes customized to your needs, building consents, a full build, and delivery to all South Island sites.

We stock an extensive range of materials and can therefore offer fixed price contracts and reduce waiting times, in most cases.

ACE Portable Buildings only use the conventional timber frame system as per most new homes, to give superior strength, durability and versatility.

It is important to us that you achieve what you need and not what someone else wants to build for you.

We will listen to you, explain the processes, and make sure we are all on the same page. You are welcome to come and view other builds we have on site and of course your own home during its building process.

It all started with the re-modelling of an old shed into a small sleepout back in 2005 on the front lawn of Adrian’s home in Marlborough. It attracted the interest of some passerby who wanted one the same and ACE Portable Buildings was born. In those early days smaller under 10 square metre sleepouts or offices became a regular site rolling out of Adrian’s gate.

Adrian moved back to Canterbury in 2012 and his younger son Croydon, a qualified builder, came on board as the business grew and the size of the buildings increased. Adrian manages the day to day operation of the business, and will guide you through the build process.

Croydon is the Production Manager and is supported by a full team of 11 tradespoeple. Design, Strength, Style and Service are the cornerstones of our business and we offer a 24 month warranty on all our buildings.
We are excited about the future with more designs coming on stream.
